Abbeyfield School is an exciting place to work, we became an academy with Creative Education Trust in October 2012. This is a school of 1300 students between the ages of 11 and 19. We employ over 140 staff; this includes teaching, support and administration staff. Abbeyfield School is a good school (Ofsted May 2016) with a desire to become outstanding.
We are looking to appoint a Trainee ICT Technician to join our busy support team. The ICT Trainee will support the ICT Lead and Technician with the day-to-day tasks and management of systems at the school. Entry level experience is expected, the trainee will work closely with their team and receive guidance and training to carry out the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
We would be interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate a willingness to learn, great communication skills and the ability to work professionally with school staff and students. Established problem solving and personal organisation skills will need to be demonstrated at an early stage.
Abbeyfield School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references and other checks.
