Cheadle Hulme School is seeking highly qualified graduates to train as secondary school teachers of mathematics from September 2020 as part of the National Maths and Physics School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) scheme.
Trainees, whether recent graduates or professionals looking to move into the sector will benefit from being part of Cheadle Hulme School’s high-achieving and dynamic Maths department and the support of a subject mentor. The School also offers an exciting and varied internal programme of development opportunities. Successful applicants will experience placements at local independent and state schools to ensure that they are fully prepared to take up rewarding positions in a wide variety of schools.
Those who undertake the scheme are eligible for the £26,000 or £28,000 grants through the Department for Education.
To find out more about this exciting opportunity, please sign up to the next Cheadle Hulme School ‘Day in the Life of a Maths Teacher’ event on Wednesday 15 January 2020, by emailing HumanResources@CHSchool.co.uk with your name, email address, degree title and classification (if known) before 8am on Thursday 19 December 2019.
