This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The Sheffield College Engineering Centre is now located in brand new premises on Olive Grove Road in Sheffield, 10 minutes’ walk from our main campus on Granville Road.

Over the last 3 years the Engineering Department has experienced significant growth in our student base due to high demand and our links with industry have also stimulated growth in apprenticeships.

We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Electrical/Electronics Trainee Technician to support the delivery of the curriculum on our BTEC FE and HE programs. The College has high standards of practice, and associated success rates are expected to be achieved.

Your strengths will be either industry based or academically qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. The post involves supporting engineering students on a range of vocational courses, both full time and part time. You will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing curriculum and team development.

You will join our outstanding team, will be self-motivated and be part of a successful and growing department with Excellence, Employability, Enterprise and Engagement at its core.
