Job overview

We require a motivated, pro-active and qualified Trainer/Assessor with professional membership in the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIoB) to deliver and assess on higher level apprenticeships and work based NVQ programmes in construction management. You will be joining a team of people who are committed to supporting learners to achieve outstanding outcomes in a fast growing sector.

Delivering and assessing Advanced and Higher Level Professional Construction Apprenticeship frameworks (up to level 5) and NVQ’s (up to level 7). You will hold appropriate qualifications and industry experience up to senior construction management level. Passionate about construction and the built environment, the right candidate will be keen to develop the next generation of site managers / project managers etc.

Ideally the successful candidate will possess an assessor qualification (D32/3, A1, TAQA) and preferably IQA (D34/V1) qualification as well as a proven track record of recruiting new learners, engaging with employers and supporting learners to achieve excellent results.

Recent and relevant industry experience and experience of delivering training up to level 7 is essential to this post.
