About the Opportunities

Catholic Education, Canberra & Goulburn (CE) aspires to be a high-value education system that builds Catholic learning communities of hope, joy and wonder where all are welcome and inspired to grow to their potential.

While CE is already highly valued by students, families and local communities, it is challenged by significant societal, educational and funding changes.  In response, CE has embarked on a major transformation program to meet these challenges head-on and to pursue its aspirations, vision and strategy.  This program is called the Coherence Program and is planned to run from 2019 to 2025.

The Program will respectfully question current approaches and start developing potential improvement initiatives to address core challenges CE faces now and into the future. As CE embarks on this journey, it will progress through several phases to determine where to invest its time, talent and resources to deliver improvements.

What Are We Looking For?

To be able to achieve our agenda, we are looking for innovative, pro-active, change focused individuals to fill a number of key vacancies across the Coherence portfolio. Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW, covering 88,000 square kilometres covering the whole of the ACT and extending from Pambula on the south coast, to Crookwell in the North, through to the western point of Lake Cargelligo. Operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres Catholic Education Canberra & Goulburn is key to education of over 21,000 students within the Diocese and employing over 2,100 professionals.
