Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life. This new post is an exciting and innovative opportunity to reshape SEND student’s introduction to secondary education.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified and committed Primary School Teacher, to provide high quality teaching to small groups of students that may otherwise struggle to access the key stage 3 curriculum. Our successful candidate will develop the Academy’s offering of a supportive and nurturing environment for those with additional needs, creating a platform for a successful secondary school experience. 

Our ideal candidate will be a committed practitioner who shares our vision ‘Let your light so shine – Be the best you can be’. You will be a highly motivated professional, with a real understanding of potential barriers to learning, able to work creatively with students and implement strategies to overcome them.

You will have working knowledge of National Curriculum, KS1 and KS2 requirements and SEND Code of Practice. Candidates with experience of working with students with SEND/ Autism and SEMH needs are particularly desirable.

This post is negotiable to be part-time or full-time, required for September 2022. Pay scale is MPS/UPS Outer London.
