Job overview

Haileybury is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join us in this newly created role. The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of the transport services within our busy Operations department. They will work with the Operations Manager in the provision of an appropriate fleet of vehicles and vehicle movements on site.

The post holder will ensure that health, safety and welfare of all service users are of paramount importance by certifying that all departmental activities are legally compliant. They will work with the Operations Manager to contribute to and implement the school’s transport strategy, delivering an agreed development plan to achieve its objectives.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of supervising and leading a team, with proven experience in a busy administrative function. They will benefit from support and development from a highly experience and skilled line manager and be joining a team of close-working and friendly individuals.

The post holder will be required to work 40 hours per week throughout the year (52 weeks).
