Trust Catering and Compliance Manager
37 hours per week, All Year Round

We aim to provide a rich and varied meal provision for all of our students. We believe that it is essential for our children to have a choice of well balanced and nutritious meals available to them to help aid their learning and concentration.
The Trust is restructuring its catering provision and is recruiting an experienced manager to lead on food procurement, compliance and service delivery across the Trust. The Trust Catering and Compliance Manager will oversee the daily catering operations at the main production kitchen and two finishing kitchens and will lead and develop a dedicated catering team across the Trust.
The successful post-holder will:-
• Have at least five years’ experience within multi-outlet fresh food operations.
• Be qualified to at least Level 3, with a willingness to work towards a Level 4 managing food safety qualification.
• Be a dynamic self-starter with a zest for great forward-thinking food adapted for the education sector.
• Have strong people management skills and strong IT skills
• Have financial awareness, food procurement expertise and an ability to achieve best value without compromising quality.
• Be experienced in ensuring full compliance regarding current legislation including nutritional standards.
• Have a clean driving license as driving Trust vehicles is a requirement of this post.
Experience of working in an educational setting would be an advantage
