AIM Academies Trust is a small trust in North London. AIM Academies Trust has 3 schools including AIM North London and London Academy. AIM North London is an 11-19 mixed multi-cultural comprehensive school in North London. It has over 600 students, with over 50 languages spoken throughout the Academy and a significant proportion of students eligible for the pupil premium. London Academy in Edgware is one of the countries top performing school’s. It is an all through 4-18 year old mixed multi-cultural comprehensive school in Barnet. It has over 1743 students and a significant proportion of students eligible for the pupil premium.

 

The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a Trust Curriculum Leader for Geography to work closely within our two extended leadership teams in developing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning within and beyond the academy. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner and leader, who will play a key role in continuing our drive towards outstanding outcomes for all students.

 

You would join an existing and growing team of highly skilled leaders who are passionate about improving teaching and learning and hence student outcomes within the two Academies. You will be ensuring outstanding teaching and learning across the Geography teams at London Academy and AIM North London. You will play an important role in both teaching yourself, curriculum planning and quality assurance and coaching colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
