Salary: Grade 11 (Scp 39 £45,495 to Scp 43 £49,590)

Full Time 37 hours per week (all year round)

St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust require an experienced person to join our Trust Data Management Team to jointly manage and continually develop the Trust’s data services; reporting to one of our Teaching Senior Leaders. 

The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of the Trust’s management information systems (MIS) including effective day-to-day operation and associated data packages. 

The successful person will provide all Trust schools with an accurate, effective, and responsive data management service to improve educational outcomes for students and also support the smooth running of data communication systems. This includes effective management of all core student data; maintenance, monitoring, utilisation and analysis of this data throughout the year. You will also support with any other data led areas for the Trust including central services and robust partnership working with IT where required.

The Trust’s MIS currently includes: Edulink, CPOMS, SISRA, SIMS, BROMCOM, ALPS and SOL. Training will be provided in the use of these systems. It is essential that the post holder is qualified to degree level. If this is not in an ICT discipline, it is essential that the candidate has the equivalent qualifications and working knowledge and experience.  

You will need to enjoy working with complex data and have the ability to manipulate, interpret and produce data reports to meet a range of stakeholder requirements. You will have excellent verbal communication skills to support and enable the understanding of others.

You will need to be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. You must have exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work with and lead a team of staff.  This person will be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines to achieve objectives.

It is an essential requirement of the postholder to be on site during the 3 week period starting from mid-August to September, to support the Trust with the management of examination results for Years 11 to 13.
