Based at one of the Trust schools (with travel between all schools)
32.5 hours per week
We are seeking a strategic lead to drive the continual improvement, growth and development of the Early Years and Family Liaison provision across the Trust.
The role holder will:
- Support existing and new Nursery provisions within our trust schools.
- Manage the planning of and launch of new provisions in partnership with schools.
- Liaise with families and other stakeholders to ensure any new provisions meet the needs of the community.
- Support the recruitment and induction of new Nursery and Early Years staff.
- Lead on school improvement priorities for Early Years working closely with the Director of Education
- To develop and expand the trusts Early Years offer including opportunities for community and family centre development in liaison with the Director of Education and the Chief Executive Officer.
- Be an active member of the executive leadership team.
- Play a major role in formulating, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing the Trust’s Strategic Plan relating to Early Years.

The Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT) came into being on 1st September 2016, was extended in August 2017 and is now comprised of six schools:
- Bournes Green Infant School
- Bournes Green Junior School
- Hinguar Primary School
- Richmond Avenue Primary School
- Thorpedene Primary School
- Shoeburyness High School
SECAT has its own Board of Trustees and each school has its own Academy Committee (AC) which is accountable to the Trust Board.

The Central Multi-Academy Trust Head Office is based at SECAT House, which is in the grounds of Thorpedene Primary School, one of the 6 schools in our MAT. The Chief Executive Officer, Acting Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director and Administration Assistant to the CEO, all operate from SECAT House.
The Central Finance Team, the Central ICT Team and the Central HR Team are all based in schools within the MAT; the Central Finance Team and Central ICT Team operate from Shoeburyness High School and the Central HR Team operate from Richmond Avenue Primary School.
