The Nene Education Trust is a forward thinking and developing Multi Academy Trust. There are currently 5 academies in the Trust with plans to grow to 7 over the next six months.
We are keen to appoint a highly motivated, skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our ambitious, dynamic and friendly Central Trust team. You will lead, guide and develop the finance team and provide advice and guidance on a range of financial matters to senior managers across the Trust.
The role is broad based and will require a ‘hands on’ approach and a willingness to support academy-based staff on day to day finance routines and tasks. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and experience of finance systems and processes, the ability to produce timely and accurate management reports and ensure good financial controls are in place. Good communication skills, initiative and enthusiasm to implement improvements to improve efficiency and ensure processes and procedures are fit for purpose are also essential.
