Job overview

An exciting opportunity to become the strategic lead on improving provision and outcomes across Bridge Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing SENCOs to develop high quality provision for our secondary schools and to lead on transition with our primary schools. The position is non-class based. It is a full-time post, however high-quality applicants seeking part-time roles will be considered. Own transport essential as our schools are based in mid and west Essex.

We are seeking to appoint an individual who:

·      Has the ability to work strategically across Bridge Academy Trust; to share and develop best practice bringing together leaders and external partners to create collaborative and consistently high-quality provisions in all our schools.

·      Is a proven leader who understands how to work with other leaders to achieve the best outcomes for pupils and schools.

·      Has expertise in SEND, early intervention, therapeutic approaches to behaviour, and disadvantage strategy.

·      Has significant experience in either primary or secondary schools, and proven impact leading development and practice around SEND and/or disadvantage.

·      Is highly skilled in the planning and delivery of CPD to teaching and support staff.

·      Is ambitious for our pupils, our schools and themselves.
