This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead the IT function of a newly formed Multi Academy Trust. Leading the ICT Services team will include responsibility for service delivery, design and implementation of IT systems and maintaining a balanced and robust network infrastructure to support curriculum delivery.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, good time management and organisation skills, excellent customer service skills, the ability to use initiative and work under pressure and the ability to work closely with other academy managers.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate how their previous experience has prepared them for this role.

State Of The Art Facilities

An exciting place to learn, the Academy boasts a new state of the art building and a purpose-built sixth form centre. Extensive refurbishment work in our West block has also seen the creation of brand new science labs and a suite of purpose built classrooms – all designed to ensure a bright future for the generations of students to come. On our large and leafy campus students also benefit from access to a number of grass football pitches, netball courts and a national standard table tennis centre, alongside a £1m football pavilion and all-weather pitches.

Fantastic Results

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area - achieving the best ever results in the school's history this summer. Results for 2025 saw 85% of students achieve a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, compared with a 65% national average. In total 69% of students secured a strong pass of a Grade 5 or above in those two core subjects- far exceeding the national average of 46% and meaning we are placed well above similar schools nationally.

A level students in our high performing sixth form also celebrated strong results with more than 91% of the cohort securing a place at their first choice university, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
