Who we’re looking for

We appointed Carol-Anne Alcock as our Director of School Improvement in November 2020, who has a track record of leading schools in challenging circumstances to Ofsted outstanding. We will shortly be announcing who we have appointed as our new Trust Lead for Curriculum and CPD. You will have the opportunity to work with these leaders who are some of the best educational professionals in the country.

The Trust are looking to appoint a lead practitioner who has expertise and track records as an outstanding teacher in any of the following subjects - English, Maths, Science and Modern Foreign languages, leading the development of high-quality assessment and curriculum practice in their subject (including links to and contribution to the wider school curriculum), and leading CPD, research and impact evaluation to improve learning, teaching and pupil outcomes.

You will be skilled at motivating and supporting teachers and leaders in departments where pupils are not maximising their progression through the curriculum.

The post is an exciting opportunity for a talented subject leader to share their outstanding classroom practice and to motivate, coach and develop fellow professionals.

A full list of responsibilities is detailed in the job description and person specification.
