St Columba’s School is seeking a Tuckshop Convenor to manage the efficient and effective day to day operation of the school tuckshop.
In addition to successfully co-ordinating the running of the tuckshop, you will manage ordering of stock, organisation of volunteers and maintain a clean, hygienic workspace.
You must demonstrate:
• An ability to lead, plan, organise and control the day-to-day operations of the tuckshop including finance;
• Organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm;
• Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in food service and knowledge of the nutritional requirements of school-aged children would be an advantage.

St. Columba's Primary School is located in the inner northern Brisbane suburb of Wilston with an approximate enrolment of 605 students. To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Weeks Worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): Until end of 2020 school year
Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 24 hours per week Tuesday to Friday, Term Time Only
Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: Service Staff Level 3 - $26.71 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
