Priory College Stroud Education Service is a new and exciting development linked to our established and well respected College in Swindon.
We have a number of residential houses based in the Stroud community and a day service within Stroud College. We provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of education, care, work experience, life skills and training within the community.
Our approach enables young people to develop confidence and skills they need to progress towards adulthood, including further or higher education. This position will be based in and around the postcode area of GL5 4AH. Please ensure this commutable for you when considering this role.
We are seeking to work with experienced Tutors to provide one-to-one input, pastoral care and academic support to our students, with the ability to teach general GCSE and A Level's on a range of topic including German, Latin, French, Music, IT, Art/Photography, Computer programming, Sociology, Psychology, English, Maths etc.
Experience of working with young people with ASD and complex mental health problems would be beneficial, with the ability to work in a flexible manner to adapt to individual students needs is essential. In addition to the above subjects the ability to deliver functional Maths and English would be beneficial.
