The Role:

We looking for Tutor/Trainer-Assessors in Electrical Installations for our acclaimed Construction Faculty.

You will be able to monitor and evaluate learner’s progress and develop training and skill transfer methods where required.

Working within employer-focused / skills for work frameworks, you will assess and advise apprentices, employed workers, and adult apprentices on work-based and NVQ learning programmes to achieve their qualifications ensuring that their needs are met.

With the appropriate qualifications in your specialised trade, you will have experience in supervising and training learners within an occupational environment and be able to track, monitor and review your specific assignment of learners.

Ensuring that learners achieve their learning goals and are provided with the necessary support to assist them in successfully completing their programmes, you will, where required, develop innovative and stimulating teaching and learning materials for use in a range of delivery modes.

You will prepare suitable materials/activities for independent and differentiated learning to ensure that all students have guided access to differentiated learning materials/activities relevant to their courses.

Oldham College was established in 1893 following a donation from the Platt family who were famously manufacturers of textile machinery. Their generosity led to the institution of the school for art and science in Oldham Town Centre.
