Yarrells: A great big hug of a school!
We are seeking to appoint Tutors to work with children outside of normal school hours, including evenings, weekends and/or school holidays.
This role is ideal for experienced educators, tutors or specialists who enjoy working with children and are able to deliver engaging, high-quality sessions in their area(s) of expertise. Applicants are welcome to apply if they can offer one or more of the following specialisms:
Grammar Tuition (verbal reasoning, maths and English)
Coding
Forest School
Drama
Music
Art
The Role
Deliver tuition to children up to the age of 11, either one-to-one or in small groups
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions within your specialist area
Work flexibly according to agreed availability
Maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment
All bookings and scheduling will be managed by the school.
Hours and Pay
Flexible, ad hoc hours (subject to demand and your availability)
Sessions may take place during evenings, weekends and/or school holidays
£35 per hour, depending on skills and experience
The Successful Candidate Will
Have experience working with children in an educational or specialist setting
Have strong subject knowledge in at least one of the listed specialisms
Be reliable, professional and able to build positive relationships with children
Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check
Teaching qualifications are welcomed but not essential
