Tutor/Class Teacher

Paddock School is a growing, outstanding and innovative split site school in Putney SW15 for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We are ideally looking to appoint experienced, motivated practitioners to join our skilled and dedicated staff to use their energy, creativity and excellent personal skills in supporting us to work towards our Vision – To Nurture, Inspire and Transform Lives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised programmes and evidencing progress for 7 young people with autism and/or complex learning difficulties in the Post 16 department. You will need to make very significant contributions to the EHCP paperwork for the young people in your care. You will have a very good understanding of structured teaching (TEACCH), early development of communication and delivery of pre-vocational and self-care skills. You will be confident in managing a dedicated and caring team. You will liaise with parents and other professionals for post school placements and attend meetings and training as required.
