Smart Teachers is recruiting for intrinsically motivated and organised tutors to work closely and intensively with children across both Key stage 1 and 2, focusing on those that have fallen behind during the impact of the first lockdown. The school is based in Enfield, at a resource-rich Primary school which belongs to a reputable academy trust. Tutoring is scheduled to commence after the February half term, and will take place over the course of 6 weeks, on the school premises. 

The role

• Tutoring key children across Key stage 1 and 2

• Specific focus on different topics within Maths and English

• Working hours are 9-3 with a 1 hour break for lunch

• Tutoring to be on a 1:1,1:2 or 1:3 basis

• Two form entry, non-denominational school

• Graded ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED

• Great space inside school with lots of break-out type rooms available

• Mixed ability children, large EAL percentage

• Accessible from Ponders end and Brimsdown station. Parking available.

Requirements

• PGCE/QTS or overseas equivalent

• If you are overseas trained, UK teaching experience is essential 

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
