Smithills School is looking to appoint an inspirational and committed peripatetic Brass Teacher to join our vibrant music department. 

The successful applicant will have a wealth of experience in teaching pupils of all abilities, arranging music and directing rehearsals plus directing the school brass band and training ensembles. The applicant will have a proven track record in preparing brass band and other brass ensembles for performances with the ability to provide a high standard of music. They will also be able to share the knowledge of their instrument and music, with the ability to inspire through their own playing.

Unqualified teachers with relevant qualifications and/or experience are welcome to apply.

Smithills School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Bolton, Lancashire. There are approximately 1200 students at the school, between the ages of 11-16.

Smithills School converted to academy status in 2014 and is a member of the ConcertED multi-academy trust and the Bolton Learning Alliance.
