Who are we looking for?

We are launching a new centre ONCAMPUS Southampton with delivery starting in September 2021. To form part of the academic management team we are recruiting for a number of Part Time and sessional Tutors of English.

We have part time annualised hours contracts available. Your teaching hours will vary from term to term but will average your part-time contracted hours across the academic year, with remaining time used for planning, marking, working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the centre. 

We have a variety posts available on a part time basis, hours per week will depend on contract with up to 15 hours of teaching during teaching weeks dependent on timetabling, with remaining time used for planning, marking, working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the centre. 

Sessional tutors will be paid on an hourly basis. Please specify if you have a specific availability or a preference for a type of contract in your application.

The successful applicant will contribute to the teaching and learning of students within ONCAMPUS with the goal of securing success for all students to progress onto their chosen degree course at the partner university. Our tutor will have a secure knowledge and understanding of English and will be responsible for the complete and timely delivery of all subject course work.
