Who we are looking for

Working within a university setting, you will be supporting adults with an autism spectrum condition - high functioning autism or Asperger syndrome. You will support students with autism in Higher Education to achieve success on their chosen course.

The post holder will need to work independently, usually 1:1 with students but as part of a team of Specialist Mentors, working under the direction of student support co-ordinator and service manager.

Enthusiasm, drive, teamwork, resilience and the desire to make a difference are all essential requirements of the post. Principal accountabilities can be found within the job description.

Experience working with autism spectrum conditions and a graduate qualification is essential, preferably in IT, Computer Science, Technology or Physiology.

A full driving licence is desirable.

Hours: Zero Hours contract – term time only
Salary – £11.95 per hour
