We are looking to appoint a part-time upper Key Stage 2 Teacher with a positive attitude who is able to create a motivating, learning environment and programmes of work, which take account of individual pupil needs, and is committed to excellence.
Edmund Waller Primary School is located in the Telegraph Hill area of New Cross, close to excellent transport links. We serve a diverse, local, close-knit community. Our parents and governors are interested, supportive and keen to improve our school. Our children enjoy fantastic opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom. For example, participation in the Shakespeare in Schools’ Festival, a 50 piece orchestra that performs at a variety of events and amazing sporting success.
Edmund Waller has gone through a process of change and, whilst retaining its unique character, is currently in a soft federation with Holbeach Primary School. It is now graded as a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted 2014). We believe in being reflective practitioners who carefully evaluate how learning can be improved. We are a professional, cohesive team with a shared vision to deliver exciting, memorable learning.
