St Margaret’s School Hampstead  

 We are a small, girls’ independent school based in Hampstead for pupils aged 4 to 16, with a warm family atmosphere.

 We are looking for a well-qualified experienced Teacher of Maths to teach across the broad age-range Years 5 - 11.

• Excellent teaching skills to facilitate outstanding learning outcomes;

• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing;

• Effective interpersonal skills;

• Ability to share, evaluate, review and implement current and new practice;

• Excellent organisational skills. 

Knowledge Base

• Has knowledge of key characteristics of quality teaching, learning and appropriate learning environments;

• Gives clear direction that enables pupils to achieve the highest quality education;

• Has knowledge of the policies/plans of the whole school;

• Good working knowledge of common ICT applications, with a clear understanding of, and enthusiasm for the potential for ICT in enabling more innovative and effective approaches to learning and teaching.
