You will be involved in a detailed professional development programme based on the research of professor John Hattie. West Acton is an expanding school (3 forms of entry with an Additionally Resourced Provision) which benefits from state of the art facilities as well as one of the largest green spaces of any local school. Due to our expansion to three forms of entry, we are looking to appoint dedicated, outstanding and inspirational Class Teachers.

About West Acton Primary School

West Acton Primary is a vibrant and successful community school. The school encourages all pupils to strive for success, pursue their dreams, and support and respect others. The school is at an exciting time as we are in the process of expanding from 2 to 3 forms of entry with an onsite Additionally Resourced Provision for 21 pupils. We are currently 3 forms of entry in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

We have high expectations of our pupils both academically and socially, children are encouraged to support one another and reflect on their learning in order to become lifelong learners. We provide a wealth of extra-curricular activities which aim to stimulate and provide new opportunities to all pupils. We encourage pupils to be innovative in their approach to learning, whilst working both as a group and independently.

We aim to prepare learners for their next steps and hope that West Acton Primary will form strong foundations for the future.
