Thuringia International School would like to make the following appointment:

Upper School Economics Teacher

The Economics teacher is employed to teach Economics to a range of age levels in the Upper School, mostly in grades 9-12, including IGCSE and IB DP exam courses.

Summary of requirements:

  • Degree (B.Ed., BA, or equivalent) and teaching credential;
  • Previous experience teaching IB Diploma Programme or IB Middle Years Programme or Cambridge IGCSE or the equivalent;
  • Suitability for working in a school committed to IB values. Evidence of an ability to work in a flexible manner and with good inter-personal skills will be required.

This is a two-year contract beginning 1 August 2017 renewable by mutual agreement;
