VET Trainer (Horticulture, Park Ranger, Land Conservation) or Teacher of Agriculture

Our client is an independent public school that offers education and VET pathways from Birth to Year 12. The school requires a trainer or teacher to deliver Nationally Accredited competency based, and industry lined training and assessment in Land Conservation and Management to middle years students including face to face delivery within the school environment and assisting the Industry Engagement Officer in structured work placement. The successful applicant will join a collaborative team of passionate staff.

About the Role:

  • VET Trainer with background in  Horticulture, Park Ranger, Land Conservation or similar OR a qualified Agricultural Teacher
  • Ability to deliver Conservation Land management classes required 
  • Contract  position commencing Term 2 until end of 2018
  • FREE  housing, relocation assistance and remote incentives
  • Remote aboriginal community
  • Birth to 12 Independent Public School
  • School consists of a Childcare Centre, Primary, Middle and Senior school hub and a Trade Training Centre – successful candidate working in the Trade Training Centre 
  • Salary between $70, 000 - $100, 000 (depending on level of experience) 
  • Teachers are entitled to all school holiday breaks, trainers are entitled to 6 weeks per year

  • Possess current references
