The Governors are seeking to appoint a Vice Principal, who is highly ambitious for all students, a proactive and visible leader with a proven track record in school improvement. 

Following the promotion of the current post holder to Principal from September 2019, we are seeking an individual who has the vision and ability to work with the leadership team as the school embarks on the next stage of its journey.  

We will match aspects of the role to the successful candidate’s strengths and expertise.  Initially a key part of this role will include the strategic leadership of pastoral and inclusion teams, with a range of responsibilities agreed each year, in response to school development planning and individual professional development. 

The successful candidate will:

• possess proven and successful experience in school leadership

• have the energy and determination to drive up academic standards, have a positive approach and be committed to students achieving the very best they can

• be an inspirational, creative and exceptional teacher who is able to  motivate young people

• be a hardworking, imaginative thinker with excellent organisational and time management skills

• be able to work effectively as part of team, initiate and manage change 

• play a key role in the leadership of all aspects of pastoral care, behaviour and well-being of our students
