We are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader to the position of Vice Principal to increase our leadership capacity and expertise as the college grows and to enable the college to be recognised as an outstanding provider of post-16 education.
The Vice Principal will have operational responsibility to lead the college on a daily basis and deputise for the Principal when necessary. The exact lead responsibilities of the role will be determined by the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will share our vision and ambition and have the passion and determination to raise standards of academic attainment and progress. Ideally with a proven track record of school improvement, we are looking for candidates who can engage, motivate and inspire both staff and students alike, raising aspirations and going the extra mile.
New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2019, initially with 600 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). New College Pontefract, New College Doncaster and New College Bradford work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression. We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support, both for students and staff, which will enable young people in Bradford to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.

New College Bradford will primarily deliver A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 Applied General qualifications.
