Amersham & Wycombe College currently have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in a fast paced Further and Higher Education environment.

Based in Buckinghamshire, the College is a leading provider of education with 1,700 full-time and 1,600 part-time students, incorporating the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and recently launching Auto Training Centre which helps give young people in the area a start into the motor industry - one of the biggest employers in the region. The College has an annual turnover of 14 million, and has ambitions to grow.

The successful candidates will have the drive and enthusiasm to join our ambitious Executive Leadership Team with the ability to innovate and respond flexibly and creatively to new challenges and opportunities. You will play a key strategic role in strategic development, delivery and direction of the Curriculum.

Reporting to the Principal and working across both campuses, you will be responsible for the strategic development, delivery and direction of the curriculum. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that our teaching and learning standards are consistently high and the provision we offer meets the needs of all our students, communities and employers. Therefore a knowledge of quality assurance, quality improvement and change management processes is of key importance.

You will have a proven track record in a senior management post within the FE sector, with an ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.

This role represents an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming our college whilst developing your next step towards becoming a Principal.

Amersham Campus, Stanley Hill, Amersham, Bucks HP7 9HN. The campus is adjacent to the A404 in Lincoln Park. Chiltern Railways and London Underground both serve Amersham Station (20 minutes walk).

Chesham Campus, Lycrome Road, Chesham, Bucks HP5 3LA. The campus is adjacent to the A416 to Berkhamsted at the top of Nashleigh Hill. London Underground serves Chesham Station and there are regular bus connections.
