Chingford Foundation School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the northern edge of London. The outcomes in 2022 saw 51% of students achieving a Grade 5+ in English and Maths and Progress measure was in line with the national average. At Post 16, 81% of all grades were at grade C+ and 60% B+. As a school we are committed to raising standards of learning and establishing “A Firm Foundation for Life” for all our students. Chingford Foundation School also has a Specially Resourced Provision for students with Autism and Speech & Language.

We wish to appoint a Vice Principal for Character, Culture and Personal Development who will provide the leadership required to work with the Principal to achieve excellence in terms of students’ Behaviour, Attitudes and Personal Development. They will represent the Head of School and be flexible to support outside their responsibilities when required. In addition the Vice Principal will help to contribute to the development of a strong, effective school with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence, within a caring and safe environment. 

If you are an experienced school leader who has commitment, motivation, enthusiasm and a proven record of raising standards and removing obstacles to improve student outcomes, who could steer this much loved, successful school, we want to hear from you. As Vice Principal, you will work with the CEO/Executive Principal, Head of School and Leadership Team, to shape and deliver the vision and values of the school.
