We wish to add capacity to our senior leadership team through appointing an excellent Vice Principal with a real passion for engaging children in learning coupled with supporting the Vice Principal and the Principal to lead the academy.

The Vice Principal is responsible for ensuring the effective day to day operation of Park Academy West London and for supporting the Principal in all aspects of their role as well as to deputise for the Principal when required. The Vice Principal will be fully supported by the Principal and other Vice Principal in every aspect of the management and organisation of the Academy.

We are looking for a passionate Vice Principal, who would help strategically and operationally lead the Academy on the start of its aspirational journey to be one of the leading schools in England. This role is critical to the continuing progress of the Academy. The post would be excellent preparation for a Principal role.

You will be a successful leader with a proven track record of school improvement at Assistant Principal level. You will have significant experience of raising achievement, leading change and have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate staff and students. You will have the potential to move to Principalship, and to be ready to immediately deputise for the Principal if required.

Park Academy West London is a new school for a new age, an 11-19 academy, based in Hillingdon Middlesex who joined Aspirations Academies Trust, from 1st September 2017.

Park Academy West London has a close working relationship with the Aspiration Academies Trust’s other academies in London. These are Rivers Academy West London, which was judged ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted report, Space Studio West London, which specialises in space, aerospace, science and maths and, in the primary sector, Oriel Academy and Oak Hill Academy.

The Trust also operates the Aspirations Teaching School Alliance which provides high quality training and support for teachers. At Park Academy West London we aim to inspire young people to be adaptable, tolerant and prepared to work hard. We want them to take their place in the community and the wider world to be proud of their achievements and with the necessary skills, confidence and self reliance be successful learners.
