The role of the Vice Principal will be to support the Principal in developing the college’s strong and diverse academic profile as well as ensuring outstanding pastoral care and boarding provision. Working closely with the Assistant Principal Academic, the Vice Principal will ensure the curriculum is balanced, progressive and innovative, and delivered by a talented and committed teaching staff. The Worthgate School offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 14+ from all over the world. Students live and study onsite in the heart of the city of Canterbury, studying for GCSEs, A levels, IB and University Foundation Programmes, and preparing for admission to universities across the country and elsewhere. We pride ourselves on our approach to teaching and learning, with small class sizes and an informal atmosphere ensuring that students are treated as individuals and build great relationships with staff.

We take student welfare very seriously, providing comfortable, safe and secure en-suite boarding accommodation. Our friendly house staff provide a home from home, looking after our students whilst encouraging them to become confident and independent. The wide range of nationalities and cultures represented at our College reflects our aim of developing our students into ‘Global Citizens’ who treat one another with respect and tolerance.
