We currently have an exciting opportunity in the role of Vice Principal to work closely with our Principal and Senior Leadership Team to support our school through the next phase of its growth and provide highly strategic, agile and ethical leadership. The successful candidate will assist the Principal on all areas of school strategy, overall vision and culture, curriculum planning, financial and operational management. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a committed, driven and inspiring leader; someone who aspires to Headship within three to five years. Senior Leaders at MEA Central must be excellent teachers of their subjects, capable of modelling the way for others and have a proven track record of effective leadership and exam success at KS4/5, preferably in an urban environment. You must be capable of working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and key stakeholders including the Department for Education, local authorities and Ofsted.
The right candidate should:
- have significant experience in a senior role with proven impact on outcomes;
- genuinely believe that the role of a leader is to serve others ;
- know that teachers make the difference and that that teaching and learning is the ‘main thing’;
- possess excellent communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults;
- motivate and inspire students and colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.
