To help us, we wish to appoint an ambitious and committed Vice Principal who will have the skills, strength of will and character to work with the Senior Leadership Team in taking the Academy to the next level and beyond to help our pupils and students achieve the outstanding outcomes they deserve.
You will work closely with the newly promoted Principal to lead on further enhancing all areas of curriculum, teaching & learning and assessment. You will be at the forefront of developing bespoke professional development opportunities for staff who value our ‘open to learn’ culture. You will play a leading role in the implementation of the academy’s Raising Standards strategy, ensuring the very best academic outcomes for all learners.

About The Brittons Academy
The Brittons Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, non-selective secondary academy for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Rainham in Essex and there are 690 pupils on its roll.
The school is made up of four houses named after well-known authorities in their subject: Bobby Moore (sports and science), Vivienne Westwood (mathematics and technology), William Shakespeare (communication) and Nelson Mandela (social science).
