Job overview

We are looking for an outstanding leader with a proven track record of school improvement to join our senior leadership team. 

Opened in September 2014, Aspire Academy is a state-funded Alternative Provision for children and young people aged 4-16, set up under the Free Schools route. Our mission is to provide the highest quality, most inclusive alternative provision for the most vulnerable children and young people in Harlow and surroundings for whom mainstream schooling is not appropriate or successful. We opened in September 2014 with 88 pupils, now in our third year we have grown to 103 pupils.

The Vice Principal - Secondary role undertakes the day-to-day running of the Academy in the secondary phase with particular responsibility for learning & teaching, assessment & reporting and exams.
