We seek to appoint from September 2023 a Vice Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team and support the Principal as she works to ensure the School continues to offer outstanding provision for all pupils, and an environment in which all, both girls and staff, can thrive. Located in London’s cultural and educational heartland, Queen’s Gate enjoys a distinctive character and ethos, and we are justifiably proud of our many strengths and successes.

The role of Vice Principal is being reintroduced following the arrival of our Principal in September 2022. The successful candidate will serve as her second-in-command, working closely with her to maintain the smooth operational running of the School, and support her on a range of projects as we look forward to the next phase of Queen’s Gate’s development.

A draft job description is included in the applicant pack, which can be found on our website; however, the Principal is keen to hear from top-class education professionals with a range of interests and expertise, and the final specification of the role will be confirmed in discussion with the successful candidate. While this role is intended to be full time, Queen’s Gate is an inclusive employer and would be interested to hear from suitably qualified applicants who would wish to work on a 0.8/80% basis.

The closing date is 4pm GMT on Monday 13 February, and first round interviews will be held in the week commencing Monday 20 February. Interested applicants are welcome to contact the school to request a preliminary visit and meeting with the Principal.
