The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust provides a new and dynamic education. This exciting opportunity has become available to join our UTC on the Olympic Legacy Park. UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park opened in September 2016 offering opportunities for students in Health Science, Computing and Sports Science. The UTC is one of two in Sheffield, along with UTC Sheffield City Centre which opened in September 2013 specialising in Engineering and Creative & Digital Media. Both UTCs being OFSTED rated Good. UTC Derby Pride Park joined the Trust in December 2019 offering Engineering and Health & Life Science pathways.

UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park specialises in Health & Life Sciences, Computing and Sport Science and has strong support from the Sheffield Hallam University, University of Sheffield, The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry and employer partners such as Canon Medical, The English Institute of Sport, Razor and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (NHS).

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with both the UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park Principal and Trust Executive Team in implementing the Trust’s successful proven practice in driving improvement. You will understand the opportunities and challenges relating to educating 13-19 year olds in an employer led technology rich environment. Demonstrating a track record of successful leadership in a relevant setting and proven positive impact on raising standards and managing change. In return, we are committed to support the new post-holder to develop their leadership skills through a focused programme of support and development.
