The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation is a flourishing family of three all-through 3-18 academies: Crayford Academy, Hatcham College and Knights Academy.

Crayford Academy delivers a balanced curriculum that develops the character of our pupils. We place a strong emphasis on the importance of academic success in the core subjects, English, mathematics and science. Our curriculum across key stages 4 and 5 has been developed to establish a professional programme of study along with an academic progamme of study. We have done this to ensure all our pupils achieve meaningful destinations. The arts and sport are celebrated in our school and we offer a music specialism.
We believe that direct instruction works and outstanding teachers make all the difference and have the expectation that a year’s input from good teachers will enable each pupil to make a year’s progress.
We see current changes to the curriculum as an opportunity to refine our all-through provision and the way we assess. Our focus remains on pupils and their outcomes and maximizing every possibility that exists for children to do well. By making the quality of teaching and leadership at all levels a priority, we aim to make Crayford Academy an outstanding school.

Our most recent GCSE results place us in the top 20% of schools nationally, we are oversubscribed in year 7 and our 6th form continues to grow.
