Violin and Viola Teacher
Zero Hour (depends on student enrollment)
 

We seek a vibrant, well-qualified, and committed teacher of violin and viola to deliver private lessons, string orchestra and chamber ensemble coaching for Grades 6 – 12 (Years 7 – 13). Of prime importance is a love of teaching, and the ability to integrate technical, aural, stylistic and ensemble skills.  You need to be energetic, focused and reliable in the classroom, to foster passion and dedication in students, and use your initiative to develop the string programme

The successful candidate will:

  • be responsible to the Head of Faculty
  • a schedule that allows for the necessary commitment to the role
  • work in collaboration with colleagues and attend training sessions as required
  • foster good links with parents
  • Create exciting performance opportunities for students

  • ensure that feedback to students is regular and consistent, and that students learn from it
  • contribute to the extracurricular activities of the school
  • be internationally-minded and sympathetic to  the values of the IB
