Whitefield School wishes to appoint a minimum of two violin/viola/flute/Brass teachers to work alongside the music department. Successful candidates will be employed by the school and be part of the Music in Secondary Schools Trust - the Andrew Lloyd Webber Programme.
Both year 7 ,8 and year 9 students will be given a stringed instrument when they join the School and will receive a group lesson each week within curriculum time. Peripatetic tutors teach small groups under the direction of the class music teacher.
This position is an opportunity for talented and accomplished violin and viola players to develop their teaching skills through working under the guidance of the class teacher and within this ground breaking programme.
