We have an amazing collaborative opportunity available for an inspirational and experienced Art Teacher in our school in Bucharest, Romania, working with some very talented students of A level and IGCSE Art.
We are ambitious and want to take our provision to the next level, we are at the point where we want to form a special partnership with somebody who can virtually inspire our students, critique their work so that they aim high, and who is capable of working with our ‘real world’ Art Teachers on moderation and lesson planning.
This post would suit an experienced teacher, who wishes to influence young people and colleagues alike. We would particularly welcome serving teachers who have recent experience of A level Art courses, in particular colleagues who are familiar with the moderation and examining process in Art.
Many of our young people dream of pursuing courses in Art, Art and Design, Fashion and Architecture at University, and they need to produce first class portfolios to secure places at prestigious universities. If you have experience in this area, and are motivated by the idea of growing tomorrow’s artists then again we would like to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity, and a rare one, that would not only add something really special to your CV, but expose you to teachers from a different Artistic tradition, as well as enabling you to influence beyond the bounds of your current role.
Romania is 2 hours ahead of the UK, and we would ideally like Skype time in ‘school time’ but we are flexible, and look for the same.
