Music is an important part of life at Hulme Hall Grammar School. The successful candidate will find a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment in a growing department. The successful candidate(s) will have a passion and enthusiasm for music/performing arts with a desire to engage students across all year groups and will be interested in developing the role of their instrument within the wider Music department which aspires to high levels of engagement and performance.

We are currently looking for a suitably qualified individual to deliver lessons in the following areas:

Acoustic Guitar / Electric Guitar / Bass Guitar / Ukulele

This is a self-employed consultancy position under Hulme Hall Grammar School’s consultancy agreement terms for visiting music teachers; the actual teaching hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate during the year. However, there is the possibility of more in the future as student interest grows. Pupils are allocated to teachers by the Music Co-ordinator. The peripatetic team play an active role in the musical life of the school, contributing to concerts, productions and other musical events.
