Here at Wycliffe we have a thriving Music Department and are currently seeking a peripatetic Teacher of Singing to join our team from January 2023.
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Visiting Music Teacher with initiative and vision, someone who can contribute to the development of the Department. You will need the passion to deliver high quality tuition, together with the skills to motivate students with varied abilities. You should be confident and able to encourage participation, helping pupils to realise their musical potential.
We require a Teacher of Singing in both our Preparatory and Senior Schools, which could be one person with the appropriate skills to teach across the age range of both schools, or more than one person. Applicants should make it clear for which role they are applying.

Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls. Wycliffe is the top school in the UK for squash, and excels at rowing and basketball and there is a thriving CCF.
