Job overview

We have two positions available for Visiting Teachers of Speech and Drama. One is to provide maternity cover for the Autumn term 2018 and the other is for an on-going role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Teaching pupils either individually or in pairs

· Entering pupils for LAMDA exams and performances as appropriate

· Preparation of termly reports

Speech and Drama lessons are offered to individuals or pairs of pupils largely outside of the academic timetable. Lessons usually consist of vocal and physical warm-ups, work on text, improvisation and technique. Most pupils will work towards LAMDA examinations in the grades 5 to 8 range. 

If you have experience of teaching young people preferably in a similar role and an understanding of LAMDA syllabuses we would be delighted to hear from you.
