Sutton Valence School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of violin to give individual lessons, taking pupils from beginner to achieving their full musical potential during their time at the School. Sutton Valence is an independent 2 – 18 years, co-educational School with a thriving music department. It is expected that the majority of the lessons will be for the pupils in the Preparatory School. The School has a fine tradition of music and provides a varied programme of performances. Candidates must be passionate about music, have a proven track record and excellent rapport with children. They must be willing to take on an expanding 1-2 days teaching per week, including supporting and/or leading ensembles as required. Accompanying skills would be advantageous.
