Visiting Tutor of Violin

Royal Alexandra and Albert SchoolSurrey

We are seeking an experienced and well qualified Visiting Tutor of Violin to join our thriving department starting in September 2021.

This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and busy department with high expectations of all students, with ample opportunity to build on the already established tuition timetable, and continuing to raise the already high profile of music within the school.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellence in the teaching of the violin, the ability and willingness to teach viola would be a welcome addition but not a requisite.

All Visiting Music Teachers are required to work with individuals and small groups, we run class instrumental lessons in the junior school and we envisage the uptake of individual lessons to continue to build. It would be advantageous for the candidate to have experience of teaching from beginner to diploma level and beyond.

Visiting Music Teachers must be enthusiastic and committed team members. Applications are welcome from experienced instrumental teachers who share the core educational values of the department and who are committed to excellence in the teaching, learning and well-being of young people.

All Visiting Music Tutors at RAAS are self-employed and invoice the parents directly for a term of teaching advance.
