Volunteer - Minibus Supervisor

Are you looking for a rewarding way to spend your spare time? Are you keen to offer your time for our pupils, ensuring they have a safe journey to/from school? We have the perfect volunteer role for you!

Peninsula East Primary Academy are seeking a Volunteer - Minibus Supervisor to support us in running our minibus service to ensure that all pupils are able to get to and from school each day. We are looking for someone who will be able to:

• Help pupils get to and from school from our surrounding village.
• Supervise safe travel and supporting the Bus Driver to ensure a pleasant journey to and from school for our pupils.
• Create and sustain positive relationships with pupils and discussing their learning at the end of each day.

The successful candidate will need to have a DBS check (this can be provided by the school) and take part in mandatory safeguarding training prior to starting the role.

The working hours will be 8.00am - 9.00am and 3.00pm - 3.45pm, Monday - Friday.

We work closely within our community, having developed links with Haven holiday park, Slough Fort and Allhallows Church. We are also lucky to have extensive outdoor grounds as well as a Nursery provision. We are proud of our digital strategy with all of our children in Key stage 2 having access to a one to one device to further enhance their learning experiences.
